Amadeus appoints Maher Koubaa as EVP travel unit and managing director EMEA

The role is newly created and expands his previous one

Global travel solutions provider Amadeus has announced it has appointed Maher Koubaa in a newly formed and expanded role, to lead the implementation of Amadeus’ strategic vision in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Having successfully grown Amadeus’ business in EMEA during his five-year tenure as head of airlines in the region, Maher’s expanded role will see him taking a similarly customer-centric approach with travel sellers, in addition to airline customers.

After two decades in the industry, his new role will see him become EVP of the travel unit and managing director of EMEA.
