Liz Cairns leaves Flight Centre UK

She is moving to Black Diamond, an integrated marketing and communications agency, specialising in travel and tourism

Flight Centre has announced the news that Liz Cairns, head of product and partnerships departure from the business after 13 years.

Cairns joined Flight Centre in 2010 and progressed through the ranks to head of product and partnerships for the brand. 

Andrew Boxall, executive general manager of Flight Centre Travel Group, described Cairns as a remarkable colleague.

He said: “It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to a truly exceptional member of our Flight Centre family, Liz Cairns. 

"One of Liz's most notable attributes is her remarkable ability to foster valuable partnerships, which have been instrumental in delivering not only incredible value for Flight Centre but also for our supply partners. 

"Her dedication to excellence and tireless work ethic have earned her well-deserved recognition within the business and across the industry."

Cairns is moving to Black Diamond, a London-based integrated marketing and communications agency specialising in travel and tourism, where she will be heading up the Travel Trade department.

 She will start her new role in January 2024.
