Paxport announces its commercial partnership with Norwegian

It include post-booking operations of Norwegian’s charter business and ancillary offerings

Digital payments and travel merchandising distribution platform Paxport has announced an its commercial partnership with Norwegian, to optimise the airline's charter management process and increase ancillary conversion.

This move will see Paxport manage the post-booking operations of Norwegian’s charter business, handling the passenger journey and "seamlessly" connecting them to tour operators.

Operating as a fully outsourced service, Paxport’s passenger management system delivers "high" levels of automation, which consolidate and generate booking data, allocate seats and automatically collect and deliver information in the required format to government authorities directly.

This comprehensive approach reduces time and money spent on "resource-draining administrative processes" and enables focus on higher value activities.

Paxport’s end-to-end technology offering will allow Norwegian’s travellers to purchase a wide range of flight ancillaries after they have made their initial reservation, such as booking seats and luggage.

Through the award-winning post-booking ancillary merchandising solution, both Norwegian and Paxport will empower passengers to check-in online, storing their boarding pass in their smartphone's digital wallet, providing a "modern and in-demand travel experience" from booking all the way through to travelling.

Mikael Wandt, CEO of Paxport said: “We’re delighted to be working strategically with Norwegian and look forward to delivering a full suite of tailored services that will enable the airline’s exciting future plans.
