Memo, Week of Sept. 4
September is already here... And so is competition season! We encourage you to log into PROGRESS BOOK and track your child's progress in music testing and attendance. All pregame and performance music may be tested as many times as it takes before September 20 to get an A. After September 20, the highest possible grade will be a B. The Grading Scale drops one full letter grade each week the student tests the song past the due date.
The Nordonia "Lancer" Band website is up for the 2007-2008 school year! Come visit the site at
http://nordoniaband.org.
Amongst the cool features of the website are:
* Copies of these e-mails in case you loose one or something.
* Pictures of marching band members in action during football games.
* Videos of the band from various performances.
* A calendar of events for easy viewing (you can subscribe to it if you have a Google Calendar)
* A chaperone system, so if you are a parent interested in volunteering for an upcoming football game or something, you can sign up online instead of playing phone tag with Mr. LeMaster.
* And more.....
I have put countless hours into the creation of this for your enjoyment - please use it, and if you want to talk to me, drop me an e-mail. Again, the address is
http://nordoniaband.org.
Thanks,
Tom Dooner
