Dear Band parents,
 
I want to let everyone know how the Mattress Sale went!  Joe and Frank, the representatives from Custom Fundraising Solutions informed me that we made a profit of approximately $3000.  We had 57 student participate on Saturday; We sold 30 units; One student had 3 references which means she will be getting $100 in cash; We had another student have two referrals and 15 other students had one referral each.  They praise your children for their cooperation, creative costumes, and enthusiasm shown on Saturday.  For this, those student who participated that day, they will be getting a pizza party (date and time TBA).  Not bad for a few hours of work!

I want to thank Brian Hedman and Lynn Jaskiel for helping with the planning of this event.  A big thanks goes to Rob & RJ Fetkovick, and David Jensik for taking time on Thursday evening to place all the sign around the neighborhood.  We had a few parents who drove around and ensured your children were safe and hopefully warm by giving them hot chocolate and snacks.  They were: Chris Fenn, Laryssa Hutman, Holly Guffin, Bob Jensik, and Lynn Jaskiel.  Most of all, we need to thank our directors, Bob Hoefler and Beth Levy Petracco for being there on another Saturday!!!

As far the computer recycling,  there was THREE truck loads of computer equipment taken away.  Do not have any information on what we earned but lots of people were happy to get rid of old stuff.  I would like to thank the following people for helping with this event:  Shelly & Dave Brookover; Barb, Marc & Danica Smith; Brian Hedman; Donato (SR), Monica & Anna Bacco; Dave LeMaster; and John Tyrell.  There muscle were greatly appreciated!

Remember, the fruit sale is finishing up now....so get those orders in to Brian Hedman!

On Monday, November 17th at the School Board Meeting, our band organization will be recognized for the support given to the levy campaign. Come and be apart of the celebration with me.
